Scenic launches incentive program that pays travel advisors faster: Travel Weekly

Scenic Group has launched a new incentive program that will pay travel advisors commissions earlier than usual if bookings are made and paid in full by clients within a certain time frame.

The Advance Commission Program will pay registered travel advisors their commissions 21 days after a full payment is made for guests they book on any Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Cruises sailing that has a departure date at least six months away from the booking date.

The program launched on July 1 and will run through the end of 2022. The move comes as a way to acknowledge the loyalty of travel advisors who have continued to work with Scenic Group over the past two years during the pandemic.

“In an effort to thank them for their loyalty and reward their ongoing sales efforts as travel makes a comeback, we’ve launched this program to help ensure they will have money in their pockets faster,” said Ann Chamberlin, Scenic Group USA’s vice president of sales.

To participate, travel agency owners, whether independent or host, must register with Scenic Group USA. They will then receive an enrollment confirmation within five business days.

Clients also stand to benefit from the program as those who pay in advance typically have access to pay-in-full savings and other discount offerings by both Scenic and Emerald Cruises.

Travel advisors can reach out to their regional Scenic Group sales director for questions or assistance.
