Cincinnati has been named one of Travel + Leisure’s 50 Best Places to Travel in 2021.
With people itching to travel in 2021, it was only a matter of time before Cincinnati was named a hot spot by a national publication. The Queen City frequently makes travel lists with attractions like Over-the-Rhine and the Downtown art and food scene drawing people in.
Travel + Leisure tells travelers that Cincinnati’s “urban revival is official” but if they can “sneak in a 2021 visit and you can still claim to be a trendsetter.”
Travel + Leisure gives shoutouts to the newly-opened Kinley Hotel as well as staples like Please, Goose & Elder and the Cincinnati Art Museum. The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden also gets a special shoutout for being “the only reasonable justification for keeping your Twitter account.”
The Queen City will also be the subject of a spread in the Jan. 2021 edition of Travel + Leisure that highlights places that keeps people coming, according to PB&J founder and creative storyteller Micah Paldino. PB&J is a local public relations firm that has worked with 21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati, Metropole and Everything But the House.
“It is extremely exciting to see Cincinnati take center stage in celebration of our creative minds who are driving the conversation in our leisure travel market,” Paldino said in a statement. “Our creative food, beverage, and hospitality assets deserve to be commended for their dedication to providing top notch service and commitment to their craft, even during uncertain times.”
