An observation deck sits on the upper platform of the top-level at 276 m (906 ft). Climbing 300 steps from the ground takes you to the first level and again the same count to the second level. The iconic tower is named after Gustave Eiffel, the engineer whose company designed and built it, and is located in the 7th arrondissement, Paris.
