Air Canada restarts Phoenix-Montreal nonstop flights

Here’s another step in the resumption of international destinations available from Phoenix: Air Canada has restarted its Phoenix to Montreal nonstop flights.

Air Canada’s route between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Montreal-Trudeau International Airport launched in 2018 as seasonal service. The route was discontinued as a result of the pandemic.

It’s back in service now and is year round. Montreal-to-Phoenix nonstops will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays; the Phoenix-to-Montreal route will fly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Air Canada also flies to Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary from Phoenix.

The return of the flights as year-round service was due in part to the increased interest in travel two years after the pandemic, said Lisa Pierce, vice president of Canada and USA sales at Air Canada.

“Phoenix is an extremely popular destination, appealing to Canadians and global customers alike who enjoy the year-round leisure activities, recreation, hospitality and tourism adventures Arizona is renowned for,” Pierce said.

  • Travelers who are fully vaccinated at least 14 days before arrival can enter Canada with no quarantine.
  • Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to present a negative COVID-19 test.
  • Unvaccinated travelers must self-quarantine for 14 days. See the quarantine requirements at https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/isolation.
