Zoom and other video conferencing platforms have seen a wild increase in use since the pandemic. Zoom meeting minutes increased from 101 billion to 2.6 trillion in just three months. Considering Zoom is now hosting 3.3 trillion annual minute meetings—it’s a tool we’re all very used to.
This virtual event platform is used in both the corporate world and in people’s day-to-day lives—89% of users use it for work purposes, while 63% use it for conversations with family and friends. However, let’s see the impact the event technology has had, and how it boomed during the turbulent times of the pandemic and after:

The virtual events industry is a valuable option and will be a key feature moving forward, but it won’t remain the only option for event planning.
